The Fundraising Committee helps turn great ideas into reality by connecting businesses, organizations, and community members with meaningful opportunities to support the programs and events that make downtown thrive.
If you enjoy building relationships, connecting people with great causes, or thinking creatively about fundraising, this committee is for you.
What You'll Do
Committee members may help with:

Identifying potential sponsors and community partners

Building relationships with local businesses

Assisting with sponsorship outreach

Researching grant opportunities

Coordinating fundraising campaigns

Securing in-kind donations for events and projects

Recognizing sponsors and supporters

Helping develop new fundraising ideas

Collaboration
The Fundraising Committee works closely with every HDGA committee.

Events Committee: Helps secure sponsors, donations, and financial support for community events.

Community Engagement Committee: Builds relationships with businesses, organizations, and community leaders who may wish to support HDGA initiatives.

Photography Committee: Provides sponsor recognition through photography, storytelling, and promotional materials while capturing the impact of funded projects.

Youth Street Crew: Creates opportunities for youth to participate in fundraising activities and learn about nonprofit leadership and community investment.
When another committee has a vision, the Fundraising Committee helps find the resources to bring it to life.

The Fundraising Committee secures financial and in-kind support for Historic Downtown Gresham Association initiatives through sponsorships, partnerships, grants, donations, and creative fundraising opportunities.
Working alongside other HDGA committees, the Fundraising Committee helps ensure projects have the resources they need to succeed while creating valuable partnerships that strengthen our entire downtown community.
